Is anyone else having problems uploading the drinks audits from the ESA mobile App? It seems to take forever to upload - one visit. Perhaps its just me or is the server not capable of dealing with the uploads.

Some of the questions are getting more ridiculous with MF and you know there will be pr query however much you try and it seems subjective. I don't seem to get this with my other companies

Must admit I 'jacked' them at the beginning of the year. Not missed them - they only seem to want positive reports regardlesss of what you see and if you do make a negative comment, you are on the end of a stewards enquiry.

Yes true. You may as well tell them what they want to hear. I just went on the RA site. Job at a DIY store, pathetic fee and involving covert photo and taking back item for refund. Why oh why will anyone bother. it is an insult.

anyone know anything about Quest/smart measures?

Nope, done 12 already and its been fine, what I did do though is turn down the pixel count the phone is taking the pictures at, they don't need to be huge.

    GfK missing fee question:

I did a visit on 10 April and received the money I had to pay later that month but I never received the fee/reward for that visit. I emailed cybershoppay@gfk.com on 29 May asking why it hadn't been paid but they still haven't replied. Is this normal (first mystery shop with them)?

    Advice please..

I just had my first disaster with my Lawmate Evo 2
I always check mŷ equipment before each job, and got a message saying "no card found". Well, it was clearly there so I removed it, checked the contacts were clean etc and reinserted it - to no avail. I tried a new card and everything worked fine.
The problem was, this was my last job of the day and I cannot open the card on any device that I own. The card had somehow become corrupted and I have lost all my footage.

I am scratching my head trying to think of a way to back up my data as I go hrough the day so that, i can minimise the chance of losing stuff if it happens again.

Option 1 - use a fresh SD card for each job - however I am advised that continually changing the card can shorten the life of the card reader in the Lawmate hard drive.

Option 2 - download the data onto something else. My first thought was to use a laptop but mine dies after an hour or so if it is not plugged in.

Does anyone have a workable solution, possibly using a hand-held battery powered device.

    Thanks

    Terri

    I don't have a lawmate - but I do have a sports video camera, a garmin virb.

Quality of SD cards is essential for it. There are a lot of cheap cards, possible clones and poorly made ones out there. The Virb takes 64 GB cards and Samsung ones seem to be pretty good.

Some people also recommend formatting cards regularly, rather than just deleting files.

I think high speed usage, as for a video camera, is going to show up a poor card more quickly than less demanding applications will.

It does happen. There is a couple of video shopper groups on Facebook where you'll get advice on recovery, what every you do don't write to them.

What cards are you using? What speed rating? Where did you get them from? New or pre-used?

Far too many fakes around to chance the cheapies tempting as it maybe.
