Just seen on the Gap website that they added some 'additional questions' to their reports from April onwards - just wondered if anyone has seen the brief with these extra questions on and would be kind enough to give an insight into what they are?0

For burger jobs it's just things like 'Can you elaborate on the speed of service today?' Or 'Can you elaborate on the accuracy of service today?'
Really basic stuff but annoying
Talking of burger jobs, I swear I am becoming more obvious everytime I do oneI just pretend I am nonchantly texting when doing my timings but the last 2 jobs I've seen a whisper between the server and someone in management (once when I asked for a receipt, the other time just after I had placed my order) and then either will see manager out frantically wiping tables/trying to engage me in conversation/cleaning the toilets or 3 people working at once on my order.
It kind of makes me laugh, but isn't really the point. Anyone got a better way of looking less like a MS-er on those?0 -
Set the voice recorder on your iphone and put it in your coat pocket. You then listen back to the audio later and take timings from the digital timer on it.
I rub my finger on the mic when I join the queue. Other timing points taken from what is said.0 -

If you have a smart phone 'Any Course Lite' is free and easy to use the volume buttons for start/lap/stop.
About as discreet as it gets.
on a similar note, does anyone else sit in the Gap Burger and while watching children get balloons think 'Its cos of me why your getting one of them'Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I'm a woman's man: no time to talk0 -
From someone who works for a fast food chain I can tell you we know when a mystery shopper is in the house. Infact it's our job to know. If we miss a Gapper (as we call them) then we get bollocked by the manager. We aren't watching you on your phone, it all comes down to the receipt and you sitting by yourselfDEBT: 27/12 £4060  6/1 £3906  15/1 £3756 :T 30/1 £3700  7/2 £3911

The receipt is always going to be a give away, I knew the minute I asked for one in a pub recently I had been rumbled. I am also pretty sure I got sussed doing a clothes shop. I had to ask 3 separate questions in different departments but in this particular store the departments were all on one floor and staffed by the same team member.0 -
I quite often ask for a receipt in, er, a generic fast food restaurant, and I've never done a mystery shop in one. I might start asking more often.0

I normally do, just like the fun of watching the floor show.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -

LOL awesome, I work in retail and get mystery shopped myself so just took it up as a hobby to be on the side of the worker (Yes I have given bad reviews ... hated it tho but I am honest!!)
I swear the over chatty manager acted like he was just stopping short of asking me out, I did note his name badge tho and praised him up
No more for a while now though (until the premiums come up) 2 in 2 days was bleurgh and I'm on a diet.
I do think sitting alone in Gap place is a dead giveaway too.0
