Thanks for checking - I can't see them fixing it until the working week. They will hopefully be ok if the reports are in late as we can't get acces to them.
I've written loads of notes so I don't forget anything essential but its not helping. Good job I'm off work next week so can get them typed up.
Only the 2nd MS I've done so a bit worrying!Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.
Sealed pot challenge number 9 number 4820 -
I am the same too, have tried on various browsers and 2 computers with no success. I have one to do tomorrow and haven't read the brief yet from GR. The two reports would not take long but it is frustrating when I have some car negotiations to do too!! With car negotiations it very much depends on the franchise, some you can be very quick some can be very very long. Just walking out is sometimes the only thing to do.0

The thing with the quote jobs is the dealers know they go on, and if they clock a shopper, they know the shoppers working for a competitor, so there's no chance of a sale, and no chance of the time they spend with the shopper being of any benefit to them. At least if they clock a "legit" shopper, a good report helps them.
Sit the other side of the desk.... what would you do?Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Those that are discussing the the car mystery shops. Could you advise which mystery shop company they relate to. Iv just signed up to a few companies so I want to make sure I know what I'm getting myself into before I accept the visit0

There are many companies doing either 'new dealership' or 'car price comparisons'. I have just started doing these and they are a nightmare to a beginner. Here's a few things I have picked up.
New cars - All new car manufacturers price cars nationally - its then up to dealers to get the sales. Find out the national price (search for 'what car?' and 'target price' and it will bring up a great resource) and then negotiate down or get extras added. I hate all the bull when it comes to GAP and PCP etc etc. But it seems this is where a lot of car sales bonuses come from.
Used cars - Make sure you know the market. Don't just turn up with the car make and model on your brief as the only option. As well as printing off a target model from the garage you are visiting also print off cars from other local garages. Remark you have a few in mind and are checking them out today while casually leafing through your extensive collection of possible shiny new purchases. The salesman will be desperate to know the price of other vehicles - power is now in your hands!
Finally - if you hate it - don't do it.0 -
Anyone having a delay with MF approving reports? I've got 1 hanging around from Saturday and one from today. Not had any queries raised, they're just sat in pending. I have 2 more shops to do this week, but don't want to go to the expense of carrying them out if something is amiss.0

Part of the issue with car pricing jobs is the spec they want you to shop is so tight it makes the shopper stand out, I've done a few where I've had to insist on a factory order to a certain spec when the saleman is offering a better spec cheaper, madness.0

Holiday time mate, I've found that they make sure you get paid at the right payment date even if it takes an extra day or two to proof read.0 -
Would anyone here do a recorded hotel booking call to an 0870 number for just 10 reward points (you have to collect 1000 before you get the incentive) and no reimbursement?
Seems really stingy to me - just seen it on the MDC job board0
