  • Hi,

A couple of years ago I registered for mystery shopping, I have never been called up for an assignment as I never seemed to qualify.

Today I got a call from a number (I have saved it) offering me some work. unfortunately I was in work at the time and it all happened so fast but I think he said he worked for a company called Indigex(?).

The mystery shopping relates to a bank and me making an appointment about getting a mtg decision, apparently once the shop is completed they will wipe all records of me applying for mtg from my credit file.

Does this all sound legitimate? I am a bit dubious as I thought the request would have come via email etc. I have tried to google the number and all I can find it that it's based in Bristol.

    Any ideas?

Not yet. Run off my feet here. Though it's better than being caught in a space-time weirdness south of the river the other day which left me thinking I'd never get back to the right side for hours.

Make hay whilst the sun shines as you never know when it comes to a grinding halt as it seems to come in waves in my area of very good months and then poor ones.

Slightly amused that ESA sent me email to advise they had released their travel agents visits for July - whoopee dee and no thanks as the fee is ridiculous. I think they are due to release their trains jobs soon so be interested to see whether they drop the fees again.

I had planned for one but the last minute jobs just keep coming in, I'm being choosy when I take them though.

Yeah that email makes them sound like exclusive well paid jobs.
That train job gets later and later, I'll do some but not laying out the kind of money I did last year, two cards maxed to last year.

Plenty of video about, if you haven't broken your camera

My mate seems to be on a bit of a run with GfK internet enquiries.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

I only picked the train jobs with a low purchase as some of them were running in to hundreds of pounds. I only did the local station as they dropped the fee from the previous year making it less cost effective to travel further a field.
