I was lucky and some of my RA and ESA visits I could use the same stores. The rest I think I lucked out this time as they were all easy to plan, four distinct areas meant I could do four nice little runs. I have one outlying store that is a bit of a drive away that I need to do tomorrow, gonna see if anyone else has something close I can do at the same time.

Will let you plot your routes to minimise the driving.

Yep - used something similar and also got the post code map out to try and group them into logical areas to cover. Hopefully if this one comes up again I will get the other ones on the client database as they are more closer to home. Could do with them ditching the ones miles away, particularly when the shops are 'stuffed' with the end client product. Sadly they did not map to the ESA shops for me, but I did a couple of GFK jobs on the way round as well :)

Yep GFK dovetailed nicely, as did some other RA jobs with a juicy bonus or two. This month has been so good i'd be happy with a quiet summer.

Just wondering which company is doing KFC and Pizza Hut assignments. Gapbuster used to do it but I think they stopped it since a year or so ago.

Anyone notice how a DS email has attached itself to the RA drinks audit result sheet?

Speaking to someone at RA, the routes have been planned so everyone has some close and a few a bit of a drive away. There is another couple of waves of this if we do it right and routes have been plotted so we don't do the same stores all the time. I know there is at least 40 other stores local that are being visited, I'll get them next time ;-)

Thats good to know as looking at the next batch they are more 'local' One of mine was a 80 mile round trip to do three sites and had to search out some other jobs to justify the cost.

I picked up some easy GFK shops on the way and made a day of it by visiting a NT property. I had it last time and re-visited the same locations again- not sure what the logic was as 2 out of 3 were well laiden with the end clients products. Swings and roundabouts as the ESA job, I did last week were 3 locations in my own village so gained on those.
