Best Way to transfer contacts from S3 to Note

OH has just acquired a new Note mobile phone.What is best way to transfer over the contacts from his existing S3? (It's Bluetooth function is a bit unreliable for some reason)

Synch S3 with google account.
Then synch Note with the same account.
Alternatively, I am pretty sure both support export to a SD card and import from it.0 -
I had an iPhone then a new Note 2 (nearly 3 years ago) I synced my contacts on my iPhone with my google account and then powered up the note and downloaded the whole address book. Was very easy.There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0
