Going to Andorra in March
wondering if I should be buying my euros just now
with the rate at 1.30 or wait till nearer the time
how will todays announcements effect the exchange rate in next few weeks ??
Most purchases are food and beer ect so always take cash over the card cash passport things

Getting cash from an ATM abroad using a fee-free card is cheaper than taking cash with you.
I'm not sure what effect the announcement will have - the market has been expecting it for a while so it's not a great surprise. Other things may happen between now and March. Basically no-one knows for sure.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
the rate will either go up, or down. Or down and then up. Or possibly down and up and down and up. Maybe with some up and down and up and down.
If anyone can predict with absolute certainty what is going happen, please could they drop me a pm. I'd be quite happy to have a go at that there money marketing milarkey, safe in the knowledge that I'll make millions.0 -

as above post said how much , so many people dont realise the small difference unless you are buying a good amount
€1000 at 1.32 = £757.58
€1000 at 1.31 = £763.35
€1000 at 1.30 = £769.20
€1000 at 1.29 = £775.19
€1000 at 1.28 = £781.25
€1000 at 1.27 = £787.40

Overnight, Ramsdens has gone from 1.2755 to 1.2886.
I wonder how much further it will go?0 -
