How many Barclaycards can you have at one time?

I have searched the Barclaycard site for an answer to this but can't find it anywhere. I currently have a freedom rewards card and a platinum card, both with a zero balance. Both have BT offers available but only to March 2016.

I am wanting to make a large purchase and the cheapest way I have found would be to use a new Platinum card with the 35 month 0% BT. Does anyone know if you can hold 2 Barclaycard Platinum cards?

Thanks

Usually only 1 but you can have more through consolidations and hopefully appeals.

I currently have 2 because they bought up Egg. Trying to get my 3rd!

I recently applied for an IHG rewards premium visa (formerly priorityclub) for a 60,000 signup bonus from the headforpoints blog. Anyways it's run by Barclaycard and I hadn't heard anything so I called them up yesterday and they said that it was rejected due to "having existing Barclaycards". I lodged an appeal and said that I was willing to reallocate credit limits fro my existing cards. Should find out in 5 days.

It's a really good sign on bonus and I also want to get the 1 night free stay sign on bonus with the Hilton hhonors credit card later in the year (also run by barclaycard).

If the appeal gets rejected then I am tempted to cancel my old egg card (now barclaycard Cashback Amex/Visa duo) to see if it make a difference.

Thanks for the info guys. I decided that rather than waste a search if it was declined, (because I have 2 already) I opted to use the MSE checker. It came up with a 90% chance of being accepted for Lloyds 34 month BT card, so I gave it a go and got accepted.

It is with slightly different terms though, only 28 months 0% but I can cope without the extra 6 months. APR was also 3% higher but as it will be paid off before any interest is due, it doesn't really matter what it is.

Only annoying thing was I forgot to go through Topcashback and after it came up with I had been accepted, I got a pop up from TCB telling me I had missed out on £20.20! After all these years of using it and getting over 2K in cashback, you would think you would remember to check first!!!
