Mandi, I survived! I was married 16 years to a nasty, vicious, violent, controlling man. I escaped with the clothes I stood up in. His treatment has left a lasting effect on me and if I think too deeply about it I cry.

But

I'm now with the most wonderful thoughtful man, who knows my history and cried when I started to tell him about it. He wouldn't kill a fly let alone lift his hand to me.

My ex abuser, moved onto another woman ( she knew his past and why I escaped) who quite obviously must have needed her head seeing too! They had two children before she chucked him out he now lives alone.

Karma is indeed a wonderful thing. My Granny used to say 'what goes around comes around' and in his case it's true. He is facing his old age alone. I pity him.

Time, is the best healer of all, and this is what you need Mandi. Have a very happy rest of your life. Xxxx
