Just seen this on the money saving e-mail.
I already have one credit card that is 15 months 0%, but I'm tempted to get this just to get the £30.
Is this bad for my credit score? I thought that Martin always said it was. I won't be applying for anything like a mortgage for about a year, but not sure if I should just forget about the £30 or not.

It will appear as a credit search on your credit file, and if successful will appear as a open credit account with access to £x amount of credit.
Whether it will impact on your ability to get new credit products is difficult to say. Very much doubt it would affect your abililty to get a mortgage in a years time, particularly not if you close it in a few months time.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
thinking the same, its a free £30 for little work.
Also a competitive 0% period.
a no brainer if not applying for mortgage etc in next year etc

This M&S deal was on the weekly email dated Nov 12 - signed up spent money nut no voucher. According to MSE a voucher would be sent by email by Jan 24 - got a couple of hours to go but I'm not confident0

keep us posted on your progress0 -
OK phoned customer services, they say there has been some mix up / tech prob and they are putting voucher in post to me! Say that this is an isolated problem and no one else affected - we will see. Will update if and when I get voucher0
-
Oh that's interesting - I haven't had my voucher yet too! Will call them too!:rotfl:0

Hmm, my person wasn't as helpful - was told I should have had email on January 7th - which I didn't.
I was told those people who didn't get email, as they bounced back (!?) should receive voucher this week in the post? If I don't hear anything, I need to call next weekend to chase apparently...:rotfl:0 -
Never got the £30 voucher from last time
Poor customer service too; called, they promised to send another voucher, never got that either!!!
The original voucher is emailed out (which I never got) and is very short dated according to others who actually got it.--- Warning: Grumpy Old Man in Training ---0 -
