Alternatives to LogMeIn?

Another vote for TeamViewer here. Free for personal use as well.

I'm using Beanywhere a long time ago and never had the necessity to change to another soft. It has a free version also that could suit you.0

I have been using LogMeIn Pro to connect my home computer to my office. As I don't use it very often, the £76+ per year seems expensive - especially as I experience quite a lot of disconnections.
Can anyone recommend an alternative, please?
VNCviewer is good and there's also an iPhone app. I believe the client license is free and I think the server license is free for personal use but not sure about this0 -

The OP never said their employer allowed any form of remote access only they used LogMeIn. As the OP would have to pay for the LogMeIn version suggests the company may not support it as such, or they would pay. Installing a bit of software on your work PC and it working is not the same as it being allowed.0 -
As others I swapped to TeamViewer when LogMeIn started charging. If anything I think it's actually better than LogMeIn was.0

Thanks for the recommendations.
I have installed TeamViewer on my PC at home. I mainly work at home but sometimes go into my office a few miles away so I need to have remote access to that computer.
Having installed TeamViewer, I have added this computer but cannot see how to connect to the one in my office.
Do I have to go into the office and install TeamViewer there?
Can anyone help, please?0 -

I also swapped to TeamViewer from LogMeIn, found it easy to get started.0 -

True, I shouldn't have assumed.0
