Windhager Biowin2 - Set up Advice please

Hi,
Bit of an unusual one. I have recently had a BioWin2 installed but the comissioning date has been delayed by over a week. The boiler is working but guzzling pellets at a frightening rate.
I expect the settings have not been tuned for the feed etc so a lot is being wasted.
Any people with advice (an engineer would be perfect) that can advise on what to check on the menus so I can get the efficiency better till the proper comissioning?
Thanks
Rick

The boiler should not be used until it has been commissioned.0

Hmm, the installer turned it on and it's been kicking in for the frost protection feature..0

If he does not know how to commission it then he should have told you not to use it. The commissioning process ensures that it is safe and that it is working properly.
Your first post suggests that the boiler is consuming more fuel than it should and suggests the combustion may be incorrect. Incorrect combustion could lead to the boiler being damaged and dangerous situations.0 -
I have no experience with those boilers, but one thing I would recommend is not to play around with the settings as you can end up changing something and not knowing how to change it back ending up using even more fuel.
I know with the premium boilers such as Frolling the installer should be able to alter all the settings from their office and almost do the whole commissioning from their.
I think the best thing is to chase them up to todo the commissioning asap, no offence but in my experience customers playing around with the settings always ends up badly.
The problem could be a number of things, fan speed fuel recipe, draft stabiliser not set up correctly, room thermostat or buffer tank thermostat not installer or set up correctly etc etc."talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish" - Euripides0
