Well i didnt sleep very well last night at all

The letter went email and post. I thought about it after and even though i havent slept very well whats done is done. We have to give two months notice, and two months is nearly £2k.
If the sale falls through, it does. We will just have to rent elsewhere for the short term.
Not all sales fall through though surely?0 -
And ontop of the £2k rent, assuming the house does complete i will also be paying nearly £2k in mortgage at the same time.
So i simply cant afford the luxury.0 -
Bear in mind that minimum short term rent is usually 6 months. Depending on where you are a holiday let could be perfect. But let's hope all will be well and you won't need to rent.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

I am calm now.

Just a tad excited too. Will be off to measure up soon.
c'est la vie! (is that how you spell it!?)0 -
Don't fret too much, even if the worst happens which is probably unlikely.
My parents got stuffed on a house purchase and ended up living in a Travelodge for 2 months when the house they were buying fell through at the last possible second, but they had sold theirs.
It wasn't ideal, but they were fine and not tied to a 6 month tenancy. The money from the house sale generated enough interest to cover the hotel costs and they went into the next buy without a chain.0
