I have a son, I love him and yes he is amazing! However that was our choice, and our responsibility. It does change your life and I am so glad we had him, but at no point do I have the right so suggest someone else needs to take the same path as me. OP, next time they start jabbering on just excuse yourself or change the subject to something completely different. They'll get the message. Hugs too, it can't be easy! All the best.

I'm rather blunt so I would probably reply to the person wittering on about how life / family isn't complete without kids "wow I think your being harsh on yourself by your implication that your entire life before you procreated was meaningless. Mine however is awesome without children" . Then wander off chuckling to myself !!
