I bought one of the mini 803 things off eBay for the car. Works well and have recorded a few nutters with it!!!
I watched all the reviews on Techmoan also. He must live near to me as most of his videos seem to be around Wigan.
I'm now looking at buying a helmet cam for my motorbike. Looking at a Drift Ghost S. Bit more expensive than the car cam but seems to have very good reviews.

As has been said above, check out the Techmoan channel on Youtube, he has reviews on just about every model you will find.
