Transfer money from a Nationwide Credit Card

I have a Nationwide credit card that I only use when abroad and it has accumulated £3.50 in cash back.

I won't be going abroad on holiday this year so I won't be using it.

I have a Capital One credit card with 1% cashback that I use at home.

How do I transfer the cashback from the Nationwide card to my bank account which I just keep for the travel insurance and when abroad?

I can't see an option anywhere to do this in my online account.

Will Nationwide get funny about the credit balance or should I just ignore it and leave my credit card in credit?

Or I could just buy something on it for £3.50 but then will that not give me 1p cashback next year?
over 73 but not over the hill.

  • You may be able to get them to do a transfer if its a positive balance but there may be special rules around cashback not being eligible for transfer.

For the sake of losing 3p cashback I'd probably just put a small transaction on the card and not waste my any time of my life on the phone to them to get 3p cashback
