. . . plus I get free chauffeur service too!

Not if you stay 83 miles from MAN as per your FT post. Chauffeur service is only free in a 70 miles radius. Hopefully your 83 miles is driven miles and you'll be OK

You also expressed pleasure at now being on an Airbus (I presume you meant an Airbus A380). I think you are on the early morning flight which is still a B777.

Is that sarcasm or serious (I genuinely can't tell!)?

Fife, BUBBLE BURST yesterday when I realised all of this.....saga continues.....I thought about changing times, but at £300 per person to change it, it's ok, I'll "suffer" the Business Class on the B777 and early morning time.

I'm also hoping I could pay extra for the 13 miles, is that even allowed?

If you don't understand then politely ask, in the time it took you to type and post the sarcasm, you could've politely asked. Thank you anyway, for nothing!

Calum politely asked STE if this was sarcasm or not as he genuinely couldn't tell, whereas you have jumped straight to that assumption. This says a lot more about you than either Calum or STE! I'm with STE as I didn't understand the txt spk bits either.

Text speak??? Sigh, it's actually ACRONYMS used by the organisations, as I said, if only you'd politely asked.......manners don't cost a thing.

Thanks Fife. I read that but nowhere does it actually give me the "how much".

Also I live 83 driving miles, but apparently it's RADIUS?!?!?!

I called Emirates who were great.
    1. I do fall within radius :j - so no need to worry about additional mileage.
    2. I've booked Chauffeur to pick us up at 5am.
    3. Changing flight times would be at a minimum cost of £300 per person to change, therefore not going to bother.
    4. For MAN - DXB leg their site is showing no seats available. I have been assigned seats where we are currently not sitting together. Call Centre agent confirmed that at check in Row 6 will become available and they should then seat us together if those are free...heres hoping!
    5. I'm considering upgrading inbound too if it's at a good price, will do the outbound first and then decide if it's worth it.

    Thank you all for assistance.
  • Business class is always worth it IMO but I sure wouldn't like not being seated together.
