laptop to router blocked

go into control panel > network and sharing centre > manage wireless networks and delete the talktalk network. Once done, exit all those windows and search for wireless networks, find the TT one, re-enter wifi password when prompted.
If that doesn't work, you may have to connect to router with ethernet cable and update the drivers for the wifi card.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

Couldnt find drivers for spare usb,its an old one, works with the newer usb which i need for my main laptop. .. came with discs.
already tried deleting and resetting TT as you said, made no difference.
might have to be a tp link! Or cable.

sort of a mystery...vista was (is) notorious for this kind of wifi issue, hence why I said connect lappy to router with ethernet cable and update the wifi drivers-more often than not this will solve errant wifi issues in vista
