You have to set up a standing order. It can be from any bank or account you like.

You need to set up a Standing Order from your Club Lloyds current account (or another Lloyds current account of yours) as if your Saver was an external, non-Lloyds account.

Just specify the sort code and account number of your Club Lloyds Saver when setting up the SO.

EDIT: I think jennifernil is right, the SO could also be set up on a non-Lloyds current account.

I seem to remember setting up the SO during the application process?

If that's the case I wonder if the OP is trying to make an additional payment, ie more than the one payment per month the T&Cs dictate?

The SO can't be set up during the application IIRC.

Maybe I'm confused then. I probably set it up as soon as it appeared in my online area (which would have been straight after the application was finished?).

That's what I did. In fact, the first payment I made was an internal transfer which apparently works for the first payment.
  • You need to set it up as an external standing order rather than pay one of your own accounts.

I set up my SO from a BOS Vantage account. I don't see how you could set up the SO as part of the application as you need to go to the account you want to use to do it.

With the FD and M&S savers, they set it up for you during the application (which is not done on-line) as the SO has to come from their current account. But after that you can vary it yourself.
