No Spam Button

Yesterday I found a spam post in the Sports and Fitness MoneySaving Board but unfortunately there was no Spam button to click so I "reported" the post instead.

I have since noticed that none of the posts on that board have Spam buttons. Is there any reason for this? It means we lose the collective power of the forum to remove these annoyances.

There still seems to be a few boards left that do not have a spam button, it seems daft as you would have thought it would be easier to have all the boards the same.
Apparently if enough people (or the right people) ask for a spam button then it will be incorporated on that board as happened quite recently on one of the boards in the Comps section.

MSE Towers are informed about the problem boards fairly regularly, but generally to no effect.

I actually long for the day when the spammers flood the boards that DON'T have a spam button just so that it might get through to Towers to do something about it.
