Airline no longer exists, please help!!

We had a 13 hour delay on a holiday to Zante in 2011 and have been reading about claiming compensation for the delay. I did email the airline straight after the holiday but I had no response from them. Now I would like to try again after hearing about the right to claim on the tv. My problem is that the airline, Skywings, no longer exist. They were part of a Ukrainian airline called Khors Air who took over Skywings flight schedule in 2012. My question to anyone that can help is:
Can I try and make a claim to Khors Air for the delay? If not can I go through the CAA to make my claim?
Please help me!!!!

If the airline has gone bust, you have no claim.0

i booked a late package deal for my mother, my son and myself in 2011 and was delayed for 5 hours on the return journey from rhodes to belfast. i booked with olympic holidays but the airline was called viking hellas which have also gone under. i read somewhere that if paid by credit card you can claim of the credit company using section 75. i am trying to get more information on this.0

There is no evidence that any credit card companies pay out for claims under EU261, added to which you paid a tour operator who is still trading and almost certainly the bank will say 'no' There is no harm in writing but do not expect a positive response0

We were delayed for 5 hours in 2011 on a flight from Gatwick to Prevesa. The airline (Torair) has since gone under, but the flight was part of a package holiday booked with Olympic. Have we any claim on them, or does anyone know who dealt/is dealing with the winding-up of Torair?0

Torair, Viking Hellas and XL all had common directors, whether disclosed or not. Needless to say, none of them had a penny went they went bust. There is simply no claim and you cannot take action under EU261 against the operator, much as though many might like to!0
