Lee i have a emailing saying it has been recived
  • Something similar happened to me. My husband decided to go down the sequestration route so a woman came in and explained how it would work. Now as some were joint debts she told me DO NOT pay them revert them to me. I did this and it was only after speaking to a helpful lady at the bank that she told me I was still liable for the debt! Something this woman failed to mention. Now I'm left with defaults in my credit file. The debt was paid off and would of been much sooner if I'd known. Is there anything I can do to get the defaults removed?

    Correct vodfone dont care

They have reps on this forum but they only seem to be here in a face saving show of pretending to care.

In reality they dont give a sh##t.

You may as well an official compant to the

    ICO https://ico.org.uk/concerns/handling/

    and

    the communications ombudsman http://www.ombudsman-services.org/communications.html

They might get vodafone to pay notice.

It is unusual that a mortgage lender would require repayment of the mortgage. Usually a problem on your credit file would simply mean having to remain on the lenders standard rate.

Or were you on an interest only mortgage and the term has actually expired?

Even if that is the case then you should be able to find another mortgage lender who will lend to you even with a small settled default on your file. Perhaps speak to an independant mortgage broker.

  • Are you sure its a default and not just a late payment marker, it would seem odd for them to issue a defulat for just 2 missed payments.

Why give up before youve tried the ombudsman and the iCO? That makes no sense.

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
