    Actually on most models of MacBook, this can be solved (or at least reduced) by using the long charge wire, which looks like this > http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21PFgE-03mL.jpg and is included in the box.

    If you use the "duckhead" i.e. the UK plug that fits straight into the white brick then that has no earth as it's actually designed for travel and not permanent use, however the above long cable does have an earth so will fix the problem
