how to take money for holiday - help

ok
I am going to visit my daughter next month in Cayman and I'm not sure how to take my money.
I don't have a credit card.
I can take USD or KYD as both are accepted but any change is given in KYD (which may get confusing!!!).
At the moment £100 comes out at 124KYD or 151USD
which way should I go?
OR
Is there a pre=paid travel card that would act like a credit card that may be best as I have a stop over in the U.S where I will need USD.

I'm a tad confused, can you help?

Thank you.

Just ask daughter to pay for everything... you will be spending plenty on air tickets, and if she lives there she will be earning a very fancy salary.

Or... bring a fistful of five-pound notes and ask her to change them for you. (Or perhaps offer to put a corresponding sum into her UK bank account.)
