Not that I need to defend myself in any way BUT having owned 3 Passats and currently driving one, all the panels are the same colour inside and out, which led us to think something was "wrong" with the Touran.
As I said we're happy to accept that the panels haven't been replaced and the garage will hopefully fix the other problems.
Glad I posted on here and got (some) helpful replies.
Are you able to post a pic of the clocks?0 -

With customers like you becoming more prevalent, yes it is.0 -
We still don't know what screw we're actually talking about. If it's some protruding thread from the back of something fitted in the engine bay, then it's absolutely common. If we're talking about the head of an exposed screw fitting trim in the interior, then that's another matter - but still no proof of collision damage.
You mean the collision damage where absolutely no panels were painted or replaced?0 -

that always amazes me as well, open the bonnet of a thirty five grand BMW and it looks like the engine bay has been left in primer with no top coat colour at all
I suppose the thinking is why waste money on top coat and clear coat on an area that most people will never ever see when leaving it in under coat will do the job
your title was a bit alarmist claiming the car had been accident damaged when you never really had any evidence to back that claim0 -

Yup.
You can imagine what its like being a sole trader and having a customer go off on one like this..... "i know my rights", "Citizens Advice says...", "i demand a refund!", etc, etc.
At least in AC the salesman just bumps it up to his sales manager.0 -
So is there any pics of the sticky out screw head or the speedo clocks not where they should be?
What about the loud fan?
What about the children? Did you cancel all childminding appointmens due to the car being in an accident and babdly repaired? Have you been back to your customers to tell them that the car was actually fine?0 -

Or been back to the dealer to apologise for making wild, unsubstantiated allegations?0
