    Will your sister take your child (and any future children you may have) in and treat her as one of her own?
    In which case why not leave all the money to her to do with as she sees fit?
    this question of any future children also needs some consideration, but I'd expect a good solicitor to cover that.

    Another negative thing about private schools is that many have a selection test. What if your DD doesn't pass that at the school of your / your sister's choice? So do express a preference, but don't make it a requirement.
