He can't have them overnight unfortunately as he is still lodging . Also Heidi won't take a bottle. Might take up my mums offer though! X

I think you should. It's amazing what a good nights sleep does for you. And with your Mum there, she can really look after you too, make you dinner etc. After all, you would do the same for your two little girls if they needed help x

Oooh your bed is gorgeous! We're keeping our bed (for now) as it's not that old, it's got a brown leather headboard though so we may be switching it/covering it in time if it really stands out!

I think the flowery paper goes better with the bed but I love the Brighton paper, and I love that it has significance for you! Is there another room you could use it in? Might be a fun bathroom paper, you could get fun, bright, stripy towels and make it a lovely seaside theme. :) Or one of the kids' rooms?

He's at work most days but has started taking both out for a bit when he can. My mum has offered to come up and look after Heidi while I sleep if I can't cope. I think I'm so used to it now I just get on with things but is hard.

Definitely take your mum up on her offer! Is your exMIL any good? Is is possible for your Ex to stay with family and have the girls/just Poppy if Heidi can't be left?

I was thinking originally of having the Brighton wallpaper in hall going up the stairs but not sure if its' too busy! My sister suggested the bathroom but I would prefer to showcase it somewhere else. The kids bedrooms are out because they will have an extravaganza of Frozen and Minecraft/Star Wars. Might chance it in the hall! You've a good memory. It certainly does have huge significance for us! Am in love with the bed myself. Thank goodness it is reasonably priced :) I was thinking of these lockers to go with it: http://www.littlewoodsireland.ie/malmonbsp1-drawernbspbedside-cabinet/1600007679.prd?_requestid=969532

Ooh I'm on baby watch for Cinny! She hasn't been on here since yesterday. It probably means nothing but I'm excited nonetheless!

Haha we are so going to be stalking her now!

Unfortunately their dad only has about 1 in 4 or 5 weekends off . The family are about an hour and a half away as well. His mum is good though and has offered to help look after them on holidays if I need her which is good.

Hopefully he will get his own place at some point and can take Poppy and Heidi when I stop bfing her.

I think it'll be fun for the hall! It's busy but with the background being white I don't think it'll be overbearing. Hallways are usually so boring anyway, it'll be nice to add some character to it!

    Poor Cinny... ;)

Whoops, better start checking in now :rotfl: Sure MIL will excitedly post something on facebook and tag me in it when he is here, so you'll all know asap that way :p

Ditto Wendz and Birdie with the wallpaper. Floral in the bedroom and Brighton somewhere else. LOVE the bed though, major heart eyes!! Good thing about the Brighton paper is that if you feel it is too busy for all the hallway, you could maybe just do it on one wall and pick a colour from it to paint the others? If that makes sense?? We have "heather" and cream striped wallpaper on our hallway/stairs, but have wonky walls so wound up painting a few areas a matching heather colour :) For anyone painting I've found dulux once to be awesome on our last projects! Dries quickly too.

Love the wallpaper for your bedroom too, Birdie! Hope the Emma Bridgewater things are as beautiful irl as they looked on the photos. If 2015 was the year of us all decluttering it looks like 2016 is going to be the year of decorating projects :D

Hope you get a little rest soon, Wendz. Just echoing what others said about taking your mum up on the offer, can't even imagine how tiring it all must be!

I wallpapered last night! It looks lovely :) Looking forward to my furniture arriving and getting everything put in place. Back to Ikea tomorrow as Mum wants to go and I need to pick up a couple of extra baskets and whatnot. Hope everyone else has fun weekend plans!
