Your pregnancy wardrobe sounds amazing! I remember the pink jeans
Thank you so much, I'll be serving up maternity realness
I will guard them with my life!
Meant to say, thanks for adding me to the MSE FB selling group, Dinah
Just can't believe how fast things move on there! 0 -
No problem, hope it helps you. I'm thrilled I've made £99.50 in the last 36 hours on there, and more to the point I'm about 20 items closer to clearing the bedroom that I want to decorate for Grace. Another not great night last night, she came into our room which woke Ben, so he took nearly an hour to settle down again, then I had to curl up on her cot bed with her to get her to sleep - once she's upstairs we can get a slightly larger bed so we can fit in it together. Will be an amazing luxury to put Ben in his own room and we can actually turn the lamps on in our room when we go in to bed! No one has wanted to see any of the baby stuff though Cinny so still a massive collection ready to come your way!
I need to sell another £300.50 of stuff in the next 3 weeks in order to pay my years tuition for adult yoga teacher training, so that's my current focus. NIM has come back from holiday with renewed vigour to get things organised and life on track, which is great, he's even voluntarily doing DIY today which makes my heart sing, the house has been getting more and more run down for far too long now.
I think Cinny is our only bump atm but free empovered birth type ebook today only (was supposed to be yesterday too).Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

So exciting Cinny!! Bet you'll look super swish in birdies maternity bits!!
No clue who I would turn to for lost car keys Dinah! Don't even know who I would call in the UK! A dealership maybe? (And police!)
I was thinking of trying a NSD challenge maybe for September? Anyone fancy it? (Or something similar?)0 -
We're on holiday at the end of September, so a NSD challenge I can cram into at least the start would be great! Have a list of things I want to save for (holiday, baby show and *drum roll*... SANTA DAY!) so I could do with a refocus

So great to hear NIM is feeling perkier
Bet he's feeling a lot better in himself for getting even the smallest job done on his to-do list! Makes a massive difference when you've gone through a bad patch.
Had a little swirly martin moment yesterday, needed to get Ryder a crate for the holiday. Originally found "the one" for £60, but did a bit of looking around with discount codes and cashback. Got it down to £33  Just waiting until my wages hit the bank to order it

Glad to hear Nim has come back from holiday feeling more motivated. Well done on your making money too Dinah, hope it continues.
Good money saving there Cinny!
Poppy went off on her holiday yesterday, she was really excited when we woke her up and told her. Spoke to her on FaceTime yesterday and she seemed happy and had been in the pool. I'm off to my mums for a couple of days with Heidi which will be nice.0 -
I'm glad NIM is feeling better after your holiday, hope his mood remains good and you guys get lots done around the house!
A NSD challenge would be interesting Tink, doubt I'd do very well, but I'll try! I really need to save as much as I can for my holiday!
Very good swirly Martin moment Cinny! Always great when you save money on something you'd have got anyway! I was arguing with a lady in Boots yesterday because the nappies I bought were supposed to be on offer but it didn't register when I paid... the signs were a day out of date but I pouted until she refunded me the difference!
Glad Poppy's having a good time Wendz! Have a lovely time at your Mum's too!

I've never managed a NSD challenge but I'd be up for one. Today was supposed to be a spendy day but ended up being a NSD. My NCT branch who I volunteer with set up a Peppa Pig trail as a fundraiser to try to restart our toddler group, but around 4000 people turned up and we were prepared for 250-500! So we couldn't actually get on the trail as there was a 90 minute queue, so that was £2 saved! We just went to the play area, looked scared at the crowds where the show was due to be, Ben puked all down me, the sling, and into my shoe, I had a horrendous until-baby-2-never-knew-the-meaning-of-heavy-periods-until-now related incident and we left the park in a horrible traumatised mass of tears and bodily fluid. But hey, saved £2!
In much more positive news, NIM got offered a new job today at a care home he has 'fallen in love with'! So he's thrilled. They've agreed not to make him work Mondays which is my really busy work day, but he will need to work alternate Wednesdays, which I also work. So I'm going to call Grace's former nursery tomorrow see if I can book Ben in for alternate Wednesdays. I don't know if they will pick up Grace from nursery, but it's worth an ask as she loved that nursery and still asks to go back. It's a bit more expensive than the others in the area, but it's head and shoulders better, so I'd happily pay the extra £6 a fortnight for the two of them to go there. The downside is Wednesday working isn't really going to make me any money, but I've committed so I'm not going to let my boss down. She knows I'm doing this at no profit for her so I hope she might take that into account in the future, give me the more profitable jobs etc. NIM is so taken with this home he's talking about deferring his nursing degree until September, that would also mean he could start on the one he really wants to do rather than starting and swapping. He's currently enrolled on learning disabilities nursing, what he really wants to do is just adult nursing.
Random one, but has anyone heard from TPA lately?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sounds like your day was... eventful! At least it turned out to be a NSD though!
Great news about NIM's job! Would be good to defer too by the sounds of it, will give you more of a chance to get some debt paid off/money saved up.
Hope everyone has nice plans for the long weekend. We're off to a BBQ tomorrow afternoon (I hope the weather's nice!) and going to my parents' on Sunday to see them before they go away for 3 weeks. Not sure about Monday!

I'm sure you'll be able to do it, Dinah! It's mostly about being organised. So say you know you're going to spend a couple £ one day taking the kids out, just plan your other spending for that day too. Like doing the food shop, putting fuel in the car etc. It's how I work it

Lovely news about NIM's job! Less lovely news about being covered in awesome bodily fluids, but at least you got a nsd
I used to have TPA on FB, but found when I deactivated then reactivated I lost a bunch of people from my friends list. But I know her mortgage is long paid off, so she's probably enjoying the good life with her pooches! But last time I spoke to her, she was well
No big weekend plans here! Gardening tomorrow, then OH is out for football so I'm pottering. Cinema on Sunday and then maybe a walk in the peaks on Monday if the weather's nice

Feeling anxious this morning. Mum was in hospital a few months back with abdominal pain, which they never worked out the cause of, and now some specialist has seen her scan on some gp interweb thing and thinks her kidneys have a spot on that needs further investigation. So she's seeing the kidney doctor today. Just hope he has good news.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
