Wow, crazy that Robin is 7 months! But then again, Zach is 1 next month! Robin is sooooo freaking cute, I have major hair envy! Zach just has a rather unfashionable mullet!

That is so exciting about going to work in America for a year! Whereabouts are you going?

Great news about NIM's promotion too! Sounds so much better! :T

Beautiful dress Dinah, very you! Hope it serves as the perfect thinspiration! :)

    Happy New Diary everyone!

Huge congratulations on the promotion NIM! and on the exciting new job Lara! Whereabouts in the US are you off to? I am super jealous!

How is it even remotely possible for Robin and Zach to be these ages?!

I am totally with you on the debtbusting Dinah, we can kick each other! I don't even have any little people to contend with, its just sheer bad behaviour! Hopefully there will be a mini shrimp on the scene at some point though so need to get it all gone asap.

Nice to meet you Jwil :) I love how new diaries wriggle out the lurkers to say hi, I should start them more often :D

Congratulations Lara - where are you going and what will you be doing?

Well house has had a decent clean as a friend ended up coming over this afternoon and she always has a spotless house so I couldn't allow splatters of Grace's dinner on the radiator next to her chair, cheerios under the sofa, smears on the patio doors etc. As a result kitchen cupboards were done but none of the batch cooking. Will have to do it tomorrow or the fish is going to go off I think. Haven't sat down except to feed Ben today though so I'm in no mood to start cooking now, maybe after dinner. I did bake a 'healthy' cake though - has no eggs or butter in it, tastes a bit like a bread with chocolate chips and raspberries in to be honest, but squishy on the outside not crusty.

    Hello!

    Found you. Congratulations NIM!

And so get you about Gracie and Ben, I get nothing done with mini Kavics around (assume above 2 she is not a toddler anymore), she wants me to read, play, etc. She is mega cute though.

How come Zach is 1 nearly? Madness!!!

wow Dinah well done for sitting down and getting the total together, it looks scary to me but I'm sure you can clear it and of course we are all here to support you! Is there a plan of how you are going to do it? The usual ebay etc? Has your dad started paying you yet for the work you do for him?

Can't believe the ages of the babies, where on earth has the time gone!!!

Lara the USA sounds incredible! will you be moving there permanently? That is so amazing! What an adventure!!

We're going to a rural part of New York state, just for a year. I've got a newbie job at a Uni there. I'm really excited but very nervous too :)

Nice to hear all the news! Also can't believe Zach is 1 and Little Kavics is 2!!

I'm very jealous Lara! Would love an opportunity to work in the US for a year or 2! Keep looking out for transfer opportunities through work ;)

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Please, no stories about wonderful snow fun. We got a flurry of snowflakes, got all excited and went down to Fountains Abbey for a walk full of ideas about walking through the snow as it settled then making Zach's first snowman... the snow turned to sleet which turned to rain and Zach just fell asleep in his carrier! :p

Oh and on the subject of weekends, why are they so short?! I do NOT like working full time! :( Got lots of overtime to do this week, including work that can only be done after bedtime (aka 10.30 :o) tomorrow night, and I have no option but to do what I'm told and when as my job title has changed (again!) so I have to prove that they haven't just made up a new role for me to then refuse to do the required work! Need to start playing the lottery again!

Kavics- I noticed on the other thread about your 'heartbreak diet', didn't want to mention it on there but lots of hugs for you... if you want to rant or moan we're good listeners... readers... YKWIM! :)

Shrimpy- not that I'm a stalker or anything, but it's hard to let go of the threads... got everything crossed for a Popcorn Shrimp! More hugs! :)

And hugs all round just because I feel like it! (((HUGS)))
