I can't believe he spent the money you put in and you've still helped him. I'd have kicked him in the nuts!


Try doing some comparison sites to see just how bad having insurance cancelled is going to be next time he has to actually insure something. I suspect he will be paying an awful lot more than £35 a month.

Op, I suggest you have a read of some threads on the debt free wannabe board. Are you sure this is the only debt he has? How do you organise finances between you? His irresponsible behaviour suggests this will not be the only debt.
