So, so. I'm only selling my unwanted stuff, so nothing to lose really.

Mostly they are small parcel size, so the P&P is a killer (esp. as ebay fees count the P&P too). So, my dilemma has been do I send signed for or not. At present I'm only doing signed for on items that sold for over £5.00 (exp P&P), but it is slightly stressful. It wouldn't take many 'lost in the post' to have made the whole exercise a waste of time.

January always used to be quiet for us and a time to catch up on the admin. Last year was the complete opposite and this year again is exceeding expectations. Not sure why.

Have a read of the postage sticky thread. The RM signed for service is not tracked and in many areas is not signed for either, so it is a very poor service if you are hoping to be protected from a scam INR. You would be better looking at a courier like MyHermes who would charge £2.78 for a parcel up to 1kg - tracked. That price assumes you drop it off at a shop. I rarely track anything unless it exceeds £20 minimum.

oh dear, just me then !! Ah well, I know my stuff is always in huge demand for Christmas gifts etc, and that Jan seems to be a slack month, but I just wasn't expecting the complete lack of sales :(

I have had some very poor days , last week or the week before I had one day where I had no sales at all after 7am- I actually checked I hadn't accidentally put my holiday settings in.

It's quieter than November/December was (obviously) but on a par with last January's sales.
