Not part of R85 scheme so you have to apply for tax back at end of scheme. If you are a non tax payer another multi form to fill in.Why isn't it not part of the easy R85 scheme

    Lucky I have the time:)

If only my 80+ mother, who DOES have the time, know how to work a computer.

Even if she knew how to use a computer, she would be wasting her time, over 4 hours now, still no joy.

all these people signing up for email alerts for a product they admit they cannot buy, and then wonder why the IT systems are overloaded.
    :T

I have eligible (and computer illiterate) relatives who are interested in the bonds, as well as clients at work, so I don't see why anybody should be frustrated that I signed up for an alert so I can pass the message on....

No system problem here, just needed to be a bit patient. Max of the 3 year just completed OK. :j
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....
  • Finally got through to the next page after 5 hours:(.
By the time I had filled in all the stupid security questions, the system timed me out:mad:

Finally got onto the site but it seems I need to register but you already need some bonds or other NS&I products to be able to register???

(2 hours later) Tried again and this time a got a form to register with which didn't appear before.
  • After 6 hours got as far as putting my details in, pressed confirm and after half an hour still waiting to see whether my investment is valid or not.
    This is beyond ridiculous:mad:
