The phone came back on internet access still hasnt now 1am so been off 16 hours.
took 2 hours to get through to virgin who said it would be back on at 7 and should never been told it was 20 minutes and they only relayed what talk talk said.
biggest joke is I can't get mac code until migration has finished.

VM to TT requires a new BT based line, or a reconnection if you have an old BT line in the property-has this work been done yet by OR?
Why do you need a MAC after migration?
Or are you transferring from Virgin National ADSL service?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • Virgin Media are offloading their ADSL customer base which has been bought by talk talk so I would assume its part of that migration. As such, no new line is required.

I would contact talk talk and ask when your broadband service is due to go active.

Its virgin asdl over a bt phone line.
I need a mac code because I have no intention of having talk talk forced onto me without any of the new customer benefits currently over 90 quid top cash back not to mention 75 quid love to shop vouchers, and if this is a sign of things to come I was without any connection at all for some 35 hours! After the e mail saying it would be a short outage of 20 minutes.
Currently the broad band offer with them for new customers is free and was 3.50 a month No one can tell us what deal we are being transferred to.
It has took almost 3 hours of phone calls to get this sorted and I still have not got as far as the mac code, That has been just to get online again, No doubt that will be another long call.
