can someone tell me the difference between the "shop but don't drop" and the "i wanna buy it or do it" areas.
i don't use the shopping areas very much cos, tbh, i never know where to put a thread.

Hi!
That's entirely up to you depending on where you think it fits.
A rough, general guide, though, is:
I Wanna: Generally for stuff you're looking for at a good or even bargainous price and would like others' help to find it.
Shop But Don't drop: For bargains you've found that are likely to stay that price a while.
Grabbit: Really short-lived bargains.Could you do with a Money Makeover?

LOL I came in here looking for the exact same thing having been puzzled about this for months.
Usually I go by the forum description so for Grabbit: "For reporting hot bargains, not requesting them" No indication of if they are short or long term so I thought it was all as it never occurred to me bargains may stay around for longer than your "typical" sale or how to tell how long it's going to be.
Shop but don't drop and I wanna buy-it or do-it unusually don't have descriptions. For many threads both forums have few answers to queries apart from the very long running threads so it's hard to get a flavour of what each is for. For example I wanna has the long running Glasses....anyone buy from Selectspecs or eyewearcentre? thread while Shop but don't drop has the Glasses Buying Cost Cutting Plan thread. The distinction of why they should be in different forums eludes me. Given both these forums are low volume traffic it's a pain to monitor both so I rarely visit them.
I visit Grabbit regularly.0
