As for the sofa, you say you paid the deposit using the debit card, however are you using finance to cover the remaining cost? in which it is credit. Did you and you're partner both but names down on the sofa? in which case it could be a joint application.
My partner took out the finance, I just paid the deposit only using my debit card.
I didn't fill out any forms or requests etc. I am just concerned as it shows that I have taken out finance when I have not.
My partner and I are not linked financially in anyway.
ThanksI love green dots :T I hate red dots :mad:0 -

It sounds like it shows a search was conducted, not that you actually took out finance.
However if she is not listed as a financial associate on your credit files then this entry is incorrect and without your consent.
In which case report it to the credit reference agency and state that you did not give consent to a search and that you have not purchased anything from that company (that you paid a deposit for your partner is irrelevant and I wouldn't confuse things by mentioning it to them).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Checks made to support your actual credit applications leave the type of search footprint that can affect credit report.
Checks registered as ‘insurance quotation’, ‘ID check’ or unrecorded enquiry’ will have no impact on your credit report, if are concerned that the information has been recorded incorrectly on your credit report please email me your details (name/dob/address), I will gladly be able to investigate the search in question further for you.

Turns out this refers to an application that was not completed in full... hence the reason why I couldn't remember what it was.I love green dots :T I hate red dots :mad:0
