Saving for xmas 2015. A pound a day.

My New Years Resolution is a little different and I hope you won't mind me adding it, though not directly money saving related.
This year I am resolved to "THROW OFF MY MENTAL CHAINS"!
After a big foot operation last March which left me unable to put my foot down at all for about eight weeks, mental chains kept me worrying about damaging it for the rest of the year by trying to bend my (rigid) toes, banging my foot against something, that sort of thing.
I've now formally been told I can do no damage to this appendage so I'm resolved to walk fast without thinking/worrying about it, wear normal shoes, even low heels now and then and run/jog when necessary. I will get back to my long walks with my dog and it will be this year!
I am announcing this resolution every opportunity I get in order to reinforce it in my mind.:T“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”
