Overseas buyer .. I can see trouble ahead

I think I have a potential problem coming, because of the new Global Postal Service
I listed an item and actually had two questions from Thailand, to which I replied, sorry UK postage only (I blocked both ebay users)
Unknown to me that Global Postal Service has kicked in and the winning buyer is from Malaysia, with a price of over £100.
I received a message from the buyer asking about the postage, but in a cheeky way …stating other UK buyers only charge him £10, he even had a photograph of a parcel.
I replied, in a very polite manner, stating that the GPS was in operation and told him I was unable to send an invoice.
He has messaged me again, asking for a £4 discount .. I assume the international postage (seet by ebay) is showing as £14
He probably knew the postal before he bid and is now is trying for a £4 reduction on a total price of over £100.
I can just see ‘trouble ahead’ for this transaction.
Is it worth my while trying to contact Ebay
Thanks !

It makes no difference what buyer is like. OP states this is a GSP sale so eBay send the invoice and I can't see them refunding. OP will be sending it to a UK address managed by eBay, not to the buyer direct.
OP tell buyer that eBay handle this programme and he needs to speak to them. If he doesn't pay raise an unpaid case and let him argue it out with eBay.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Good idea to put international postage at a stupid price (£999) on listings where you don't want to ship abroad, stops the GSP kicking in!0

I thought GSP only kicked in for those sellers who did not offer international sales? If you offer international sales then seller can raise an invoice through the normal channels.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you don't want to send via GSP, just block the region/country in your preferences and ebay won't list in those areas.0

Are you sure that is possible , I thought that the point of GSP was that the country was immaterial as eBay took the risks once the item was shipped to them in the UK.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Did you sell this on .com?
As neither countries are included in UK GSP0 -
Firstly many thanks for all the replies (I'll click the buttons now)
I phoned Ebay and the chap seemed very understanding towards my concern.
It seems with GPS Ebay are very helpful towards the seller.
I've decided to post to the UK depot if / when the buyer pays. I'll not answer his latest question regarding a discount (as per advice from the Ebay chap)
If, worst case scenario the buyer finds a fault (not that there is one) and leaves a negative .. Ebay will remove it.
I'm pretty happy, so will wait to see what happens.
My recent listing I have un-ticked the GPS option .. I think I just didn't see it previously.
By the way it was sold on the UK Ebay, not the .com version0 -
