At a rough estimate, about £850 from December, £300 ish from January. And she's cut his hours down, opting to do the work herself, even though that costs a lot in travel (she's covering 120-odd miles a day) and parking. If she's still making money, surely she can afford to pay him and not have to fill her car up again?


We went to the supermarket just before 10pm. Not one single yellow stickered item. Ratbags have started binning it rather than reducing it more than about 10-20p from full price.



Tin of soup between 2 today. Plus I managed to get a bacon roll from a colleague and he was bought a sandwich by the guy he had a meeting with today.

Jojo, reading this thread makes me so angry that a Christmas party would be more important to someone than the wellbeing of you and your OH.

While my DH can't advise you by rights because it's against Solicitors' Regulatory Authority rules, I can certainly ask him to look up pieces of legislation and precedents to quote to your debtor or even a standard debtor template he would use if that would help. I had a 18.6p packet of noodles + chilli flakes for lunch today - he hasn't eaten yet, as he's got the opportunity for a couple of paid gigs this weekend and valentine's night. Once he finally stops practising, or at least pauses for ten minutes, I'll shove some toast in front of him.

Her OH has just posted on Facebook that they're going on holiday to the States for ten days in April.



God help them if he isn't paid every penny before the end of the week.

Anger isn't going to get you any further. Get in touch with Maitane and get some advice. It's breaking my heart and I'm sure others, to read this situation has not changed at all in the past three weeks

You cannot keep on like this. Take that anger and hunger and use it to get what you are owed.

I'm afraid lilbert yes she can, it's the nature of business. OPs oh needs to speak to them and be prepared to threaten court action. But a lot of companies won't pay till the absolute last second. X
