Finally received our holiday confirmation

However, it is wrong. There is no checked baggage included, despite the call centre rep telling us we had 20kg each and we have been charged £123.83 for a room upgrade however the room that has been confirmed on the details is the 'deluxe' room, which is the hotels basic room!

The "room upgrade" is a standard con with this company that has cropped up on this and other forums before.
I'm amazed you have still proceeded with them. 3 weeks from payment to producing any kind of confirmation is outrageous. I'd have been in contact with my card company after a day or two. You're probably stuck with them now as I imagine the flights at least are non refundable.0 -
They are some of the classic complaints with teletext on review centre.0

My credit card company said 28 days, which they are within, as I had had contact from them. I'll see if I can check with the airline.0 -

You'll now need to speak/email Teletext again to resolve the baggage issue (and I'd demand the "upgrade" money back too if its the hotels standard room.
I suppose you could go back to your card provider and go down the route now that what you paid for is not what you're getting (re: the baggage). Although you'd need to again give Teletext chance to resolve it first.0 -

All resolved, thanks Teletext.
The baggage has been confirmed with the airline, and I got an apology for it not being sent as confirmed on the first email. And an email confirming it.
I have been told that the room upgrade had not been charged, we would just get the best room available from our tier of room, I'm not sure how that works but the room charge is much cheaper than anywhere else so I'm happy.
