I don't fear a crash. I would rather there wasn't one but I have nothing to fear from one. I just don't see any sign of one. I'm only posting my opinion to balance out the constant posts on every other thread by the HPC fanatics.0

Why don't you back up your opinion with some reasoning?

Its not me who is predicting the fututre. Surely the tealeaf readers are the HPC lot. They have been predicting the future for years now ( and been wrong ever since) I take it, it is these people who are thanking you for your ridiculous post. I base my opinions only on what I see and I see no crash.
The "HPC lot" are predicting the future. For you to strongly disagree with them means that you must have your own prediction for the future.
Please point out what is ridiculous about my posts.Happy chappy0 -
A trend I have noticed is for even mild questioning of house prices to receive semi-abusive replies from a small band of people who are determined that prices must not be questioned in any case.Happy chappy0

Why do you keep bashing the HPC fanatics? I happen to frequent that website and although they have been off with their predictions, everything they have said for the past six months is coming to fruition.
If you have to keep bashing the HPC brigade then I would say you are fearful of what they discuss.0 -
Or just ignorant..

i really do think that the housing crash is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I haven't seen zero substance for claims of house prices crashing. Even this BBC article about housing being "20% overvalued" contains a quote from a Deutsche Bank employee that contradicts the main headline.
The HPC doomsters are just as boring as HPI bulls. At least the HPI bulls have been correct during the last two years. In contrast, the HPC doomsters have been very wrong for years now and many will never admit their failings.0 -

Excellent description of the recent house market boom.0
