If you can't use up the remaining credit on your SIM before switching to your new service, you can sell the credit at a loss online or give it to charity. I had some credit once I couldn't use up so I texted it to Macmillan Cancer support by texting MOBI99 £(amount of credit) to 70070.

Thanks for that Zagubov. The only thing that puts me off the Moto G is that the reviews I've read all say that the camera is poor. I would like a decent camera - that's quite important to me, but understandably the phones with better cameras seem to cost quite a bit more. Maybe the Nokia Lumia 635 is the way to go?
