Hi everyone,
Inspired by the Konmarie thread I sorted through all my clothes and folded them into drawers. I have a lot more space and 7 bags to go to a charity shop. I have seen a few threads about capsule wardrobes where people pare their wardrobes right down to a couple of colours and only keep limited co-ordinating items but that isn't for me.
I have to go to hospital this morning for the result of my biopsy. I'm not expecting anything sinister but it will be interesting to see if I'm reacting to the metal in my mouth which is one possibility.
Have a good day.0 -
Morning, forecast was for rain, but so far its fine. I will be putting my bed linen on the whirly, fingers crossed it dries before the rain arrives.
Monday clean to do after I have made up the bed with fresh linen. There is a bit of turkey left from last nights supper, will have it in a snadwich for lunch. Gammon, eggs and tomato tonight.0 -
Morning all.
I too have been reading the Konmarie thread and feel the need to go and sort out a drawer.
Quiet day here today but I've lots of bitty chores to be getting on with. Need to pop into town for a few bits, go to the bank and book a blood test.
Tomorrow we are thinking of going to see the new Stephen Hawking film so will try to book tickets online this afternoon.0 -
Good Morning everyone from a wet and windy Hampshire. We finally have the builders who are currently taking out the bathroom window so I'm going in to town on the bus later on and leaving He Who Knows to builder and lurcha sit. I did the early morning walk as the windows were still not here and He Who Knows needed to be here to sign for them so we got blown round the village but at least it's not too cold out there.
I know I'm going to get frazzled by this building work, I KNOW it will be lovely when it's finished but it will definitely try my patience until then so sorry in advance if I get negative!!!
Hope you are all safe and dry after the horrendous weather we've had and still have to come this week, look after yourselves and be careful out and about, Lyn xxx.0 -
Morning everyone! Dark and cloudy here, rain threatening.
I have to take DS13 to the hospital for the orthodontist today, my eldest has been having treatment there for the last three years, looks like I'm in for another three! DH working from home so DS16 the only one who had to be up and out at 8am, he wasn't very impressed.
Washing machine is on, dishwasher emptied, bleach in loos ready for me to finish cleaning bathrooms later. Might do some de cluttering in the conservatory.0 -
Hi everyone,
I can hear what you're saying to me now. I've been for a hearing test.
The aid was only on the lowest setting, i didn't even know it had settings. So she turned me up one and put a new little piece of plastic on it.
I shouldn't have to keep asking ......... pardon what did you say.
Got to go out now to the local shops for a couple of things, and it's raining.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Morning all,
all quiet at home. Hubby at work, 'Youngest' has gone to work. We will see how day one of his apprenticeship goes and whether his employers have sorted out his NVQ stuff out with the college.
Hubby has just sent me a text. I am sacked as a wife apparently as I forgot to put his spoon in his lunch box. No cuppa soup for him apparently. Never mind.:D If only I knew before how little it took.:rotfl:
Loads of stuff in the house to keep me busy plus ive got an appointment at the dentist at 12. I'd much rather give birth than go to the dentist.:o Someone hold my hand please.:(
Lamewolf I am thinking of you.
Onwards and forwards,
have a great day all. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Morning all,
One drenched & muddy dog and owner here, just cleaned up,but I have to go out again as we didnt get to do a shop this weekend and we need stuff for the packed lunchesI have everyone here for tea including the 2 DGC so the sc is doing its job.I had a big piece of beef from the freezer yesterday, bought on offer but it wouldnt all fit in the sc so I hacked a piece off and today chopped it up with stew veg.I'll use some to make some meals for DGS to pop in the freezer.Made a ginger /syrup sponge with custard too yesterday too,it was very popular and has all gone.
DH has been working all weekend on the house renovation apart from Saturday morning when we went to choose the bathroom stuff- yay progress :j
I'm yet another who saw that thread and went to tidy my sock/undies drawersvery motivating.
Right better get my coat on and go and wait for the bus.Have a good day all x

Morning all
DH gone to lottie to do digging and I'm making bread and recipe folder sorting whilst bread rising
Whilst out for seafront walk yesterday found pile of books being given away, one was as new master chef cookery course! When I've had a look I might put on Ama@on to sell and donate funds to a charity we raise funds for, or pass on to someone who needs this sort of book, really don't need another book but it was starting to rain and it would have been ruined, it was a few steps from a specialist charity bookshop too!
Back to sorting and baking, have a good day all, hugs to all those who need themCarolbee0 -
