    Hi Amara

I know its a little late but is it OK to join this challenge.

I have tried before but as my debt was on a DMP I struggled to focus. A long story and I won't bore you but I have recently paid off the final DMP payment with help from DH but have to pay him back. I now feel in control of my debts as i can control the speed of repayments and feel I have the opportunity to hit them hard.

I also have a few other debts to pay off. They all HAVE to go by December at the latest.

If its OK I would like to start with a small debt of £240.

    Thanks Ali

Parsniphead, welcome in the challenge :)
I'd like to amend my goal: £1000, overdraft and my Cap One credit card.
    Today I've paid £110 :)

  • Could I join please? I know I'm a little late so going to choose one of the smaller debts  and pay off DH's credit card balance of £750 as that will shortly become interest payable. I've been PADing (but paying other debts, doh!) so that should help and have also made some cutbacks in our budget, which along with our two council tax free months gives us a little more to play with.
    PAD: £4843.10 (loan paid, yay!)

Car tax refund from changing my car has come through, so that's another £150 to the cc.
Have some items to list on fleabay so hoping that will help me with a payment this time next week.
After that it gets tight to the end of the month!!
Little steps and great strides both get you there.
  • £36.42 paid off the card this week, but hopefully next week will be more successful after payday.
