Three 321 + Feel At Home?

Hi,

Am I right in thinking that if you convert your 321 PAYG credit to an add-on you can call a friend who is the USA for Free?
And if that family member does the same then they can phone from the USA to the UK for free?

Or have I got that wrong?

Thanks.

They would need the three SIM. Convert the credit to an add on (they do one for £10 and another for £15)

You don't as you're in the UK and can receive/make calls for free anyway.

Well, even in UK making calls isn't *free*.

It would be more correct to say that the cost is the same as for calling to any UK mobile.

So, if I have a Three unlimited everything contract then phoning/texting him in the USA comes out of my allowance.

If I have a Three PAYG (with credit converted to addon) then it's 3p a min/2p a text to phone USA, and exactly the same cost for him from the USA to phone UK if he has Three PAYG (with credit converted to addon).

    Correct?

Correct. The same if you are with any other UK network as you are simply calling to a UK mobile number.

If you you/he buy an addon the cost isn't 3p/2p.
He must buy an addon to take advantage of 'feel at home'.
You, generally, don't have to buy it and can simply call for 3p/min. And, again, you can be with any UK network, not necessarily with 'Three'.

If I have a Three PAYG [STRIKE](with credit converted to addon)[/STRIKE] then it's 3p a min/2p a text to a UK phone in USA, and exactly the same cost for him from the USA to phone UK if he has Three PAYG (with credit converted to addon).

    Correct?

you don't need an add-on in the UK, your calls come out of your credit at 3p, texts for 2p. It's only for Feel at Home that the add-on becomes a requirement (for the user actually using the phone abroad).
