Couldn't find a decent answer by googling:

If you reply STOP (or similar) to a marketing text (shortcode SMS), is this chargeable?

Just a point of interest. The number is 60866 operated by Papa John's Pizza.

I am pretty sure it is.
It's a part of one big plot.
And if it's just 'marketing', replying "STOP" is unlikely to stop anything.

    Interesting.

As I said, it's just a point of interest.

This company in particular seem to opt you in after each order, then you need to opt back out again. All those 12p's add up.

Will need to investigate further. Or, just get a life.
