How do you KNOW it's copyrighted material?

Did I says that I KNOW? That's why I wrote the second sentence you quoted.

If someone writes the words "film" and "torrent" in one sentence chances are near 100% that it is copyrighted material.

What a helpful post. An unwarranted assumption combined with personal insult.

Am I the only one here who sees the elephant in the room? What other word would suit better? If you do something illegal, then ask Google for help. Plenty of information out there...

Rent a seedbox and share the cost, that way you both have access to the files and are safer than torrenting to your home PC.

At the moment we are using Samsung Link which is OK but means I have to have my PC turned on for Bro to view .
Any ideas for a better arrangement ???
    Cheers All

Although I don;t use Samsung Link, I assume your brother logs in to a Samsung Link account on his TV and accesses the 'shared' content on your lap top over the internet.

If your brothers Smart Samsung TV has the same capabilities as the one in this youtube video then it looks like you can use dtropbox/OneDrive or other online storage services

The downside is the amount of space you will get for free on most services might seem very small.
I think dropbox is still 2Gb and one drive might be 7 ??

So, although this isn;t a specific answer to your question it might help in finding the solution.

    Hope this helps.

NAS Storage drive hooked to his home network, with ftp\access permissions and dsn so you can connect and upload as needed... this can be done late at night, so that it doesn't impact your upload connection when you want to use the internet..
