I'll try that too PinkLipstickBabe, thank you
Just wondering though, are these products adapted for different skin colours? I'm whiter than white, burn too easily in the sun etc so have to avoid the sun, so maybe we should all say what skin colouring we are to begin with?
I mean, are any of these products made for all types of skin?
Or should I just ask the supplier?0 -
I am very pale, a true English Rose, The Piz Buin 'Mid-Tan' Foam is highly suitable for pale skins. It tans you according to your skin type so you don't look unnatural.
Please try it, you won't be disappointed. Let me know how you get on..

But can I buy it online from Boots or somewhere?I've seen the pictures and recognise it, but not sure whether it's from magazines or real life shops!

Just to let anyone thats interested know, I fake tanned last night using the leftover body shop one ive had for ages!, Not enough left to cover my whole body (must think about going on a diet!) so i mixed it with an equal amount of palmers cocoa formula and an equal amount moisturiser and voila NO STREAKS!!
Not quite as brown as i want to be but i have some other half empty bottles of various tanning creams so will do the same thing everyday till friday when i go for the full on regulation TrollyDolly Orange spraytan!
Thanks for all your replys, im going to invest in either the Fake Bake or Piz Buin when i get paid next month!0 -

Hi Hon,
You can buy it at Boots, www.boots.com, also I have bought it in Tesco quite often. It is actually cheaper in Tesco usually. Mind you, last month I bought some in Superdrug in Inverness, so I guess you can buy it anywhere. A good job as I use it 24/7 365 days a year! I can't remember what my bare legs look like anymore. I've had the mick taken out of me many a time as I still wear it even when I am wearing jeans all week. I reckon on it's just incase I am in an accident so my legs look good for the hospital.
Enjoy using it,
Regards,

Thanks again LipStickBabe
I might try what you suggested, and TrollyDollyIt's not as if I'm going anywhere anyway, but it's good to know I can get it from Boots
(I get the St Tropez free or cost most of the time so maybe I was swayed a little
) but St. Tropez's hard to use for a novice, in my opinion. (I'm a novice lol).
Seriously again, you fake sun tan 365 days a year?
And don't mention 'just in case of accidents'Wear smaller Bridget Jones type underwear. I'm sure that'll influence the hospital staff better than a fake tan
LipStickBabe? You sound like you're seriously nuts.
But great company
Thanks again. I'll try Boots.com.
Seems like my stepdaughter's been overcharging me!0 -

Too funny!Yes, I seriously do wear fake-tan all year round and have done since I was about 14 years old. I like tanned legs and as I am fair skinned I don't tan well, just frazzle and the sun gives you wrinkles and damages your skin, as I like to take care of my face, I won't damage it in the sun. Fake tan solves the problem, nice tanned legs, no sunburn or cancer etc. It's just a habit I got into very young and it's a vanity I continue to pander to.
As for the underwear issue, Bridget Jones underwear? I wear thongs and I love 'em. There is no issue when I am wearing my tight jeans if you get what I mean!
Me nuts? yip, I probably am....lol

You sound just like my daughter that it's too scary to think about
Apart from her having Botox (because of the sun, and before she was 28  )
But I think (as Mum's do with a certainty in their heart if nothing else lol), it was a passing phase.
If not, I'll have to kill herThat'll save her some money! lol
But you're definitely a bit nutsYou must be if you wear thongs. As some great comedian said, half of them disappear somewhere?
LOL - you mad person you0 -

That's what I'd like to promote by the way. No sunburn or cancer related to the sun's rays.
Back to St. Tropez I think!
Good luck0 -
I like to fake-it in the summer too.
Having tried different products, I will second the Piz Buin but I use the Mid Lotion. I am slightly dark anyway and do tan naturally if I ever get to see the sun!! The thing I like about the Piz Buin is that there is a colour to the lotion so you can see exactly where you are putting it. Certainly helps to eliminate the streaks.
The worse thing about fake tan in my opinion is the smell. It is so chemical and very pervasive. I always fake tan last thing at night and shower it off in the morning but you can smell it on the bedding the next night.
Any-one know of a product with no-smell or am I asking the earth?0
