Best Fake Tan

I really wouldn't bother with the spray tan if I were you. I had one done on Thurs for a wedding yesterday and everyone kept taking the mick all day. They said I looked like Judith Chalmers! NICE. I did have a bit of a perma-tan thing going on, and it cost me 25 pounds AND... it has stained my sheets - which i am currently putting through the washing machine with loads vanish!! fingers crossed.
I wish I had just used my normal fake tan stuff instead of wasting my money.
Thats just my opinion anyway. I do know some people who have had a much better experience with their spray tan.:heart2:Mum to my little Daisy 3 and Archie 1.:heart2:0 -
Definitely has to be Ecotan, not too dark and mixes well with moisturiser.0

I have used Fake bake, body shop, Boots own brand and numerous other cheap brands and think that as long as you take a bit of care in the application they all work out ok. Exfoliate well in the bath with mitts or a body puff ( I use dove soap as well) then put moisturiser on all over, let that dry in them put more on your elbows, knees and round your ankles then put the fake tan on, rubbing it in really well to get no streaks.0

I used Fake Bake and was really impressed with it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I wouldn't mind a bit of colour myself but don't want to frazzle myself like a bacon rasher under a grill so I've been reading this thread with great interest. Thanks. Been debating about all the fake tans etc that are out there, spray tans so this will help a bit.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. St. Tropez done by a good salon, but one where you don't use the showers etc straight away. It's like 'half a job' and 'half the price', and seems to 'develop' over a day or so. So I wouldn't recommend it for the day before a special occasion.
It goes all over the sheets, clothes etc etc, but lasts at least a week when it settles. For me anyway.
As for everyday use, St. Tropez mixed with moisturiser, and used like you'd use a foundation. (can't remember the ratio but I'll ask)
I like the sound of that Fake Bake though - thanks.0 -

Piz Buin 'Mid Self-Tan' Foam
is by far the best self-tan I have ever used, and I use this self-tan every 4 days so that I have perfectly tanned pins. I have used it for over 2 years now, always have a spare bottle in stock so I don't run out and have bought so many bottles I have lost count.
Previously I have used St.Tropez and all the other 'expensive' brands. This is the only one I have found to work as it says it does. It's a foam and it's a breeze to apply and dries in only 5 minutes! so you can get dressed almost straight away. You cannot tell I am wearing fake-tan until I take my kit off and you see the paleness of my body compared to my legs.
I highly recommend it!
