I'm not even going to try to interpret what on earth the OP is saying, because little of it makes any sense.
It seems to me this is very easy though. The OP appeared to (as in did say, but giving the benefit of the doubt may not have meant to say) that they wished to work the minimum number of hours possible to retain full benefit entitlements. That is, they are fit to work, but do not wish to work.
OP. Is that true or not?
Because if it is not true, and there are reasons why you cannot work, then you are asking the question in the wrong way and creating the backlash you are getting because of that.
If it is true, then you are asking for advice on how to exploit the benefits system to work as little as possible and have the taxpayer pay for you. In which case nobody cares whether you have worked before, or whether you have paid taxes in the past. Benefits are not a savings scheme for people to use when they feel like not working.
And speaking personally, whatever your ethnic background, I find your comments about "people coming from abroad" both ill-informed and offensive. There is no reason to start slinging mud at others who may be (or, in fact, probably are not - because it is almost impossible to do so) claiming benefits. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, and until you are in a position to not need benefits, you are hardly best placed to start commenting on others who may claim them!0 -
I think this issue is getting personnel and some are using as tool for the next election so will want end this now

Yes, you are. Assuming we have interpreted your garbled English corrently you are asking what is the minimum you can work to retain HB, CTB and anything else that might be given to you. That makes you a sponger. This is the sad truth of it. You have given no reason as to why you cannot work full time - and no reason as to why your wife cannot work part time.i c the truth hurts
I am sure it does hurt you, yes. That's why you are so defensive.
I don't understand the rest of your post, so would suggest that you ask someone with a good grasp of written English to translate what you are asking into writing.
I'd also echo the suggestion that you consider further education to improve your written English.0 -
Yes, you have the right to know what you are entitled to. A brief look on the Internet will give you your answers.
Are there reasons why you are unable to work, OP?
If not, you should take responsibility for the child you have brought into the world. I pay my taxes for those who really need it, not for those who decide they will work a certain number of hours per week just to pull maximum benefits when they are in fact capable of working. It saddens me that such an option exists, and I have no respect for those who take it.Emergencies account: £500/5000 -
Perhaps, OP, you should reconsider the £500 tablet for you four year old child and consider putting the money towards your rent!0

No wonder people on benefits get a bad name!!
How can you critisise the OP when you are milking the system for benefits with your 6 kids.
6 kids seriously? Have you never heard of contraception?0 -
OP, I am about as anti UKIP and as pro immigration as you can get. Without exception every single immigrant I've met or worked is hard working and delighted to have the privelege of living in a country with a free healthcare system and all the other associated benefits we are lucky enough to enjoy here- when we need them.
I am so very sad and disappointed to read this thread and hear about a sponger like you giving hard working immigrants a bad name and adding fuel to the UKIP fire.

If I was milking the system I would be doing 16 hours ie the minimum. As for me having 6 kids-my partner was working when we were together -however he cheated on me (for 2 years as it happens)and left me and as my youngest was 1 at the time I wasn't in any fit state to look for work. I got a job for 20 hours a week in the evenings when my youngest was 18 months and did that for 2 years, then I got a job in a shop but damaged my foot working there and it has taken almost a year to feel better. As soon as it did I found a job. I could have stayed on income support till May as that's when my son is 5. So HOW exactly am I milking the system??Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34
