    Obviously missed my point entirely.

Its posts like the OP that adds fuel to a theory that the welfare system encourages people to do as little as possible and expect the state to supplement their lifestyle/choices

Apologies, I thought your post was aimed at those being critical of OP.

So, yes, missed your point entirely!

The OP sounds like a complete male chicken that I have the misfortune of working with. Complaining all the time that £1400 a month in benefits isn't enough. That's IN ADDITION to his full time salary

Everything he can. He's one of those who knows *exactly* what he is entitled to. Him and his wife have 2 kids so that will include child benefit. I don't know what else because that would mean I have to actually speak to him to find out :rotfl:

so many of you think it is ok for others to come from abroad and get full benefits even though the have not paid any NI or tax and then work on the sly and then claim asylum and then get all there things paid for by the working people I thought this was a forum to get advise not throw S**** at the person asking the question so what if I have asked about other things in past post but each post answered I have thanked but as you can see from this post not one person has been thanked for the advise as it was not advise but politicly points to what will happen if the Tories get in what will happen i UKIP get in with Labour

I have worked in this country since the age of 18 yrs old paid taxes and NI but if left job and took a break from my career due to personnel reasons and now want to get back in to the job market but slowly seems the above people have ideas all should not claim and work till the are in the grave and not even claim the pension the are entlited to so why pay NI if not get any thing is for the when that come from abroad and claim for everything and live plush life or ask for bigger flat as not enough room for Kids to play where we have families in B&B and can not get 1 bed flat

SO put the above in you pipe and smoke it

At least those coming from overseas might be able to construct a sentence!

If you have been on a career break why have you been claiming JSA?

With such strong feelings towards foreigners I wonder how you feel about your own family that live in India? What a bizarre rant from someone who appears to have an overseas heritage.

What I mind is people abusing the benefits system full stop, you're no better than anyone else that takes advantage, irrespective of where they are from.

Please speak to your local college about getting help with literacy.

aayush I think the problem here is that you seem to think you have some given right to work as little as possible so you can be subsidised by a system that was originally put in place to help people short-term in their hour of need.

I have no issue with 'foreigners' coming over to this country to work, I have worked with people from many different backgrounds, as long as they do things in the correct way. It is only a minority of people that come over to rape the system but these are, unfortunately, the only people that get reported on. It doesn't make for very interesting news....'Polish man comes to work in Britain, works his backside off for a lesser wage then pays tax in Britain AND Poland'

You have asked advice on a very sensitive issue 'how can I work the minimum to get the maximum out of the welfare system?'. This irks me. I am a mother to a (near) 3 year old, both my partner and I work full time and I went back to work when he was 6 months old because I had to, financially. I have never claimed a penny from the state and I hope I won't ever have to.

It is also a good grounding for my son. When he asks why I'm off to work at 7pm for a nightshift I tell him 'if you want anything in this life you have to work for it, nothing comes for free'

Your attitude is somewhat skewed, you need to change it to 'how can I work full time and maximise my pay so I can provide for my family?
